Known Issues

Bottlenose is a new product and we are working diligently to resolve issues as we find them. If you come across a problem and would like us to add it here, please contact us using the information on this page: Contact and Bottlenose Community.

Image width and height control registers differ from the received image size, after adjusting either width or height individually

This is a known issue in some early-release sensors. Please update the sensor firmware to the most recent firmware release.

SE-2018: GigE Vision multipart issue blocks transmission of sync'd stereo images.

This issue prevents the user from acquiring synced images for the stereo Bottlenose units. Of course, this means that users cannot calibrate their cameras either.

This is a known issue in some early-release sensors. Please update the sensor firmware to the most recent firmware release.

SE-2084: Add Windows support for camera support utility.

Many stock GigE Vision receiving side software applications do not have the ability to view a pair of stereo images. For example, the Pleora eBus Player does not have this capability. To work around this, we have our own utility that is currently supported in Linux. We are making this cross-compatible with Windows.

SE-2060: The camera crashes sometimes when the user clicks Stop or Disconnect in Pleora eBus Player.

This seems to happen when image sensor registers are modified using GigE Vision utilities, followed by clicking Stop or Disconnect.

This is a known issue in some early-release sensors. Please update the sensor firmware to the most recent firmware release.
